Therapy That Looks Beyond Symptoms
Sometimes the difficulty is not simply anxiety, behavior, motivation, or attention.
Challenges with working memory, cognitive flexibility, impulse control, planning, emotional regulation, sensory needs, and developmental differences can affect how a person learns, communicates, manages emotions, maintains relationships, and functions in everyday life.
At Always in Mind, therapy considers the whole person and the processes underlying behavior.
Treatment is collaborative, strengths-based, developmentally appropriate, and tailored to each client's individual needs.

Meet Alexis
Alexis Andrade, LMHC, DOCTORAL STUDENT
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Executive Function & Neurodevelopment-Focused Clinician
My clinical approach combines psychotherapy with a strong interest in neuroscience, development, executive functioning, and the relationship between the brain and behavior.
I have extensive experience supporting children with autism and developmental differences across behavioral health and developmental settings. My work today integrates that background with evidence-based psychotherapy to help children, adolescents, adults, and families better understand the factors contributing to everyday challenges.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, treatment is individualized around each person's strengths, developmental needs, goals, and environment.
